I always wanted to be the good little Christian woman who spends her time in prayer and Bible study, and who devotes her time to keeping her house clean and her family- or myself, at least- fed with nutritious meals, and spends spare time volunteering at church and making cute little doilies or other crafts. Why won’t you change me? Why won’t you fix me? Why do you leave me like this? I did everything I could think of to give it up. I had driven half an hour, one way, just to get AV cables and a HDMI-to-AV converter so I could hook up my new Xbox, since the local Walmart didn’t have any converters.įather, I have prayed and prayed for you to help me. ![]() I said the following prayer while on the way back home from a nearby town, while listening to “Dreams of an Absolution” from Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 (most of my prayers are the impromptu, on-the-spot, I-thought-of-it-now-so-I’m-praying-about-it-now type). ![]() ![]() ‘Cause every night, it just stays the same, and I dream of an absolution.
